The oil pressing process begins with the selection and cleaning of seeds, which are then dried or heat-treated as necessary. This is followed by mechanical pressing. The crude oil flows out of the press, which is filtered into a clean, stable oil. The by-product is also oil cake, rich in fibre and protein.
